a tree
spreading my roots all over the place
and spreading my branches so others can have a hiding place and protection from the sun, and a place to rest and make a nest or two...
and to drop my seeds so the babies cam grow
to make beauty for others to look at...
smile
good luck

I used to be a lonely tree in the middle of a plain cuz I was always so miserable and depressed. But now I'm like the migrating bird since I'm always happy and busy! Take care!

As I read above I am astonished and a tad saddened by how lacking most people are. I'm the bird in the tree on the plain that stayed behind from the flock. And, if I were part of a "flock" I'd be the leader of crows because they are a murder ... ain't life just grand? big, out of control wet nibble on your pelvic bone.... jack

A lonely tree in the middle of a plain. I say this because, i'm not a follower and I don't do what the crowd does, just because everybody else, is doing it. If I have to stand alone, so be it. Iv'e learned the hard way that it doesn't pay, to try and fit in, with the crowd.

Actually, I feel like a lonely bird in a flock migrating south. We are all surrounded by others but do we really know anyone? We sit on a train going where we are going and dont talk to anyone, we sit in our cars alone in traffic, and we sit on our airplane seats on transatlantic flights for hours without talking to the guy next to you. Well guess what, it was that guys birthday and he just found out his wife is cheating on him. He is going to London and hang himself in his hotel room because he feels so alone in the world...and he is. But if you would have pulled the IPod out of your head and said a few words to him then maybe that would have made the difference...maybe that would have taken him out of that bad place he wass in. Now his 5 year old daughter has to grow up without a dad. She will end up being a stripper initially and then move into prostitution because the money is better and she can afford better drugs. She will get strung out on meth and at age 30 she will be suicidal herself. Thankfully all of the drug use and harmful things she has done to her body has left her barren and she has not reproduced.
And whose fault is all of this...Is it the moms for cheating on her husband...nope. Is it the dads for killing himself...nope. Is it the manufacturer of the rope that he hung himself with...slightly. But it is mainly your own fault for not pulling that IPod from your head and saying "hello, where are you headed...business or pleasure."

The lonely tree I guess, I am not the kind of guy who goes where all the others go just because they say so.

I am more like the tree. I stand alone. I am not the type to fly with the group. I am sturdy and strong and independent...But I'm not neccesarily lonely, (maybe sometimes)
