I wasn't sure if this was an actually credible email or if it was spam of some sort, because I have NEVER sold or bought anything on eBay. Plus the email was in my Bulk folder. This is what the email said from the member:

I don't understand why you are not answering back.I have made the payment and you said you will provide a tracking number after the payment is done.If you don't replay I am assuring you I will report you at eBay.I am sorry for that but you gave me no choice.Waiting for your answer asap. Thank you!

Just curious if I should respond or not.

Delete it!

eBay members can Forward the message to spoof@eBay.com

Legitimate messages are also found in an eBay member's My Messages section.

Don't respond. Since you claim you never had any business with eBay, for sure this is a scam/phishing email, another clue to this is also the fact that it ended at your bulk email folder rather than inbox.

I would suggest you to report this problem to eBay, so you can help them fight this phishing/scam tactics that cost money to the user. Go to http://pages.ebay.com/help/contact_us/_base/index_5.html and fill a report, so you can help.

Remember, to report such activity is voluntary, but if you do, you can help others as well.

It's phishing. I've gotten email from "eBay" in my bulk folder too. Also gotten emails from "paypal" as well.

If in doubt, open a new web browser and type in ebay.com. Do not click on the link that is given to you. EBay always has a copy in your My Messages.

Email any phishing to spoof@ebay.com or if for paypal spoof@paypal.com.

It is probably a fraudulent email-
These emails are not sent by ebay but someone masking as ebay to get you to go to their link and supply information.

Delete it and do not go to any links in the email

I get those all the time, it's a scam. Even if you do use ebay, you only ever get emails to tell you about stuff youve clicked on, so if you dont recognise the thing, ignore it.
