Currently, I know that Stepmania, similar to DDR, is a simulation of the game and is yours for free downloading off the Internet. You can buy a mat compatible to your computer and play on you computer! Google stepmania. I think you have to download the songs too, though. By the way, it isn't kid-ish, it is a simulation of the real thing.
