That would be completely nuts! And I don't think it would be the best environment for the kids either.
I lived with my ex for financial reasons for 2 months. It was horrible. The tension, the bitterness, the anger...it was difficult.
Think twice about it.

So now he thinks he can have his cake and eat it too. Life doesn't work that way. You were smart filing divorce in the first place. Don't let him run over you anymore. Your children are old enough to accept whats going on. I'm sure they know the circumstances behind the divorce.
Do not put anything in the garage. Make him get the hell out. He has no right to continue his crap. Make him understand. Don't bow down.

I'd give him an "A" for effort. It would be a sweet deal for him. Unless there is some specific reason to stay together after divorce, tell him "NO!" and send him out into the cold cruel world. As to the children, they're old enough to understand, and he'll have visitation privileges, so they can see each other.

I know a couple who did that. They ended a 23 year marriage and three years later....they STILL live together with their adult kids. Get THIS- the guy remarried TWO YEARS AGO! He still lives with the ex though and I heard the new wife just filed for divorce.
Wow! It's so hard to believe the "live with my ex-wife plan" blew up in his face like that............Truth is stranger than fiction.
You get the two-timing bum outta there sweetie. One of you needs to be sane in front of the children.

Some men do because some crazy women go along with their craziness.
Your children need to see a strong woman show some self-respect and it looks like you're doing that. Good for you.

That is completely crazy! It sounds like he wants his cake and wants to eat it too. Do you really want to stay with someone that was messing around? I would kick him out as soon as possible and try and to move on with your life without him in it!

Sure they do. Mainly, because they often can. And, not JUST men. Plenty of women also feel they can do anything, and others will happily make excuses for their idiotic ideas. Takers come in both sexes.

Hey, this sounds disturbingly familiar to what my exwife offered me.... except with one more catch. She said we could stay in the same house, but I would have to turn one of the spare bedrooms into my room and then pay her RENT to stay in it!!! I was paying a mortgage payment on the home, and then on top of it, I was supposed to pay rent to live in my own home. Needless to say, she may be my exwife, but she is NOT my landlady!!!!!
Good luck with this bunch of donkey crap!!!!
