I have a Sony NW-A1000 player. I download the songs like im supposed to, but when i disconnect it from my PC and actually tey to access the files i just downloaded, it says 'No Songs. Conncect compliant software and transfer songs'. How do i solve this? Any help is much appreciated!

I have this problem if I've had the connect software open for a while for some reason. It righted itself if I restarted connect and re transferred the songs.

Connect is not the best piece of software so you could use sonic stage.

First you have to install the Sony Sonic Stage software, then plug in your player with the USB lead. there are various feature and functions which should be fairly clear. Its hard to explain on here, much easier to demonstrate.

It seem that you either love or hate Sonic Stage, my two daughters have 3 Sony players between them and a Sonic Stage library of about 11Gb. they have never had any problems and are continually uploading and changing the music on their players, and they have been using it for over 2 years now, they are only 13 and 15 years old!! Dont give up, it does work well when you get the hang of it.
