There is a funny story about this and I promise it is true. My friend was a TV personality in Houston and she interviewed Bobby Riggs before the match Bill Jean King - Bobby Riggs match.
Bobby Riggs was at that time a paid spokesman for Hai Karate men's cologne.
She asked him if he had any secrets he would use to win the match.
Bobby said, "I am going to use my secret weapon: Hai Karate, to win the match".
Trying to get in a plug for his sponsor
My friend (not thinking) started laughing and blurted out,
"Oh, really! What are you going to do? Put it on your balls"?
She meant his tennis balls but unthinkingly said a double
entendre
Bobby Riggs got all red and nearly fell off his chair
No one in the studio to amongst the crew could function and everyone got hysterical laughing -they had to cut to a commercial

Bobby Riggs in the Houston Astrodome. Riggs was older and Billie Jean ran him to death , side to side, drop shots , Riggs was out on his feet. An interesting footnote to this match was that Riggs and King remained very good friends until his death, they both new that this match had a major impact upon the growth and recognition to women's tennis it had.
