The thermostate works. I think it may be electrical.

i would say your control panel is bad u can get one at junk yard for 20$ or rebuilt ones for 100$ i have the same problem with my 1992 chev

Could be the heater control valve is stuck in the closed position not allowing hot water to circulate to the heater core.

you have a blend air door servo at the bottom of your ac box right above the transmission hump...........i bet its gone bad but do this first, remove the fuse for the hvac system to reset your hvac dash panel and retest.

Got water? If you have a radiator leak, you can lose your heat that way too. Probably your thermostat. I would replace that first.

Have you checked the wiring?
Battery?
Alternator output?
The heater itself?

it could be the heater control pod

YOU CONTROL PANEL MAY HAVE GIVE OUT,OR THE HEATER BLOWER MOST LIKELY THE BLOWER
