ok i bought 3 molly fish. 1 black 1 orange and 1 white. i looked up on the internet to see the diff of a male and a female. i found out that the black one was the only male. my question is that is it ok that the 2 female keep following each other?

Yes, they will group together. and it is better that you have several females and only one male. Be ready for babies. It is interesting, because they do not lay eggs, they are live bearers. Just like tiny babies in the aquarium. GOD BLESS YOU! sus04mc@yahoo.com

Yup, it's normal for them to hang out together. If you notice the male is really pestering the females, you may want to get a third female.

Get ready for the babies :D

sure they may follow each other, just keep an eye on them so that they do not become aggressive toward each other it is rare in molly females but like with any species females can fight

yea..the more females you have the merrier. i have like 5 males and 25 female...it gives the male fish more variety, and you will get tons of babies
