I've always used clear tape. Works just fine.

Get those things by Command(I think)they hold things to the wall and won't put holes in them. It can be reused over and over too. It is a hook with sticky stuff that goes on the back of it,then you just pull that stuff and it comes off without taking away the paint or making holes in wall. Sorry can't think of name of it,but am sure you get the idea.

well i used tacs to hang it on my fire place,i think that would be best because the holes are small.if you use tape it might fall,especially when your heat is on.good luck and merry christmas
