I have met several men who wear women's clothes. One of them felt that she was a woman trapped in a man's body. She actually had the gender reassignment surgery. I know another that dresses as a woman around people she feels comfortable and then dresses as a man at work. This person feels they are "two-spirit" which is a term that some Native American tribes give people who believe they are more than one sex and are actually held in high esteem. Some men like to wear women's underclothes and it's no more than a fetish. It feels nice to them and it doesn't mean they are gay. Most gay men never wear women's clothes.

I believe it is a comfort thing or just to want to know what it is like to dress as a woman. I've been doing it on and off in my own home since I was 11, and I will be honest it feels good wear womens clothes.

I know a man who cross dresses and isn't gay. The reason he wears dresses and whatnot is because he simply feels more comfortable in them. He's been wearing dresses since he was a young teenager.

Because they feel comfortable doing so. Some men feel comfortable in dressing in women's clothing, just like some women like to wear men's clothing. I, myself dress in men's clothing all the time. I like the style and I am more comfortable in men's clothing than women's clothing.
