The Yankees have fans? Seriously? No way! Maybe bandwagon groupies but surely not fans. A fan is loyal, knowledgable, and someone who gladly experiences the pain of the downs because he knows that will only make the ups feel that much better. I'm sorry, but anyone I've ever met who rooted for the Yankees didn't have any of those things. I've met a lot of wannabe fans who sport a NY hat because they think it's a status symbol or that it'll make them appear as a thug. But a Yankees fan? No, I'm sorry but that's nothing more than an oxymoron. But yes, I do find these groupies to be extremely bitter people.

Not a Yankee fan Mr. Porgie but not only 2004 how about 05, 03, 02 and especially 2001 Well maybe not 2001 that was the last classy Yankee team at least those teams from 1996-2001 had some grit maybe not super stars everywhere but a good gritty Bronx type of team even it was built on free agents somewhat it was a working mans team.

If my team was up 3-0, then lost, I would be bitter too! As an Indians fan I still have yet to get over Game 7 in the 1997 World Series!!!

Yankee fans are ALWAYS bitter about something. They are cry babies and moan and groan whenever things do not go their way which has been a lot in the past few years. Of course, the bitterness they have over 2004 will never go away because their team choked, and they are VERY bitter about that!!
Chow!!

HAHA! If only my team could have done the same thing with the A's... oh well, better luck next year Twinks.
*Ahem* Yankee fans can never forget how great Babe Ruth was then they can never forget how horrible the team is. Where theirs an up, theirs a down. Back then was the UP, and now is the DOWN, and we never look back too far... but 2004 wasn't toooo far now was it?
I'd be bitter if i was them... especially with sooo many high priced players. When you pay that much money and don't with a world series then you are just nothing!!!

Its a rivalry what else would you expect. no offense here, but i dont lik the yankees. i have no problem with their fans. its the team i think the red sox dont like nd they just take it out on the fans. the yankees in the pst have had some gret players and think they cn buy all the best players because they have a wealthy owner. steonbrener family thinks their hot stuff. the red sox have made the playoffs recently aand have developed into a great young team. the yankees always have to be in the spotligh. like me personlly i HATE the cubs because im cards fan. personally i thnk st louis has the best fans in baseball they dont boo their players and arent bandwagoners like some cubs fans. the cubs suck they always will and think their hot stuff when they do good. the cubs bandwagoners are kind of similar to red sox bandwagoners. its just how people are. and ur last sentence can also refer to cubs fans. trust me i know

Yes, they are. Any team who led 3-0 and lost the next 4 games would NEVER forget it. It's only been what, 2 years? The Yankees will still remember it in the year 2104(if they're still there) The Red Sox still remember their "curse" even though they already broke it 2 years ago. The Yankees will never forget it.

Arods #1 fan clearly is. I guess he forgot that his beloved team LOST to the Tigers in the first round (seems like a trend there...losing in the 1st round Arod!). Maybe Randy Johnson should try pine tar too...worked for Kenny, your boys couldnt hit him!!!! Too many egos, not enough playoff capable players (see Arod...great playoff #'s). Jeter is the only man that gets it done come playoff time...Tigers beat them with studs like Alexis Gomez (remember the bomb he hit Mr. ARod?), Marcus Thames (you remember him dont you?..Thanks for losing him to the Tigers, we appreciate him!).
So to answer your question...YES!!!! it appears there are some bitter yankee fans (at least one anyways).

I still think it is the most exciting ALCS in history. It is the most exciting of all the series I've watch.
The Yankees are still bitter that they haven't won a series since.......??? Can anyone remember when they last won?
