better signals are locked and the one thats not locked have no signal

The passwords are referring to your router, which is what is giving you the wireless Internet signal that you're trying to use.

You'll want to see if there is a password for your specific setup with your router, that is the password or the locked information that you're looking for.

Easiest solution, contact the person who setup your network and they'll be able to let you know if they set any type of password for your Internet connection.

Check on Nintendo.com in the Wii Customer Serice area for getting connected.

I was there last night. There was a nice little place where I could select my router's model number and it gave me all the information including the default password (in case no one ever changed it), the IP address so I could access it's settings and all kinda other good stuff.

Get there and if you don't know what you're doing, let whoever handles that stuff take over.

All I had to do was change the channel my router broadcasted on from 6 to 1 and it worked just like that.

maybe its the same as your Internet password
