Practice makes perfect as they say! Play lots more, analyze what you could have done better, and study a bit more.

I like to play by not moving the pieces where the opponent goes to become king until I feel like it. Also, see if you can find some way to defend all of your pieces. However, sometimes you need to sacriface to get more pieces.

My favorite move is when my opponent has two kings a space apart along a diagonal with a space ahead of either king in both directions and you move your king in between them to "fork" a capture.

A "fork" like in chess is when you set up an attack on two pieces at once with a single piece so that your opponent will lose a piece on their next turn no matter what move they make.

take yo time b4 goin,check 2 c if u can double jump and always try 2 stay up against da side bcuz they cant jump u and try 2 keep all yo checkers on da back row so they cant get a king

the best move is when someone has two of them one space apart, and your diagnol, and you go over them and u get two checkers, or three, four, it depends on how much they have there
