Without a doubt, the Star Wars prequels were an abomination. I admit that I watched them, but pretty much to see the continuity with the storyline. There were a few inconsistencies. I think the biggest problem I had with them was the overindulgence in CGI. The originals, even though puppetlikethey had a much more believable backdrop to the story. The new ones were too reliant on technology than they were the art of deception. I really wish that they went a different route with it.

If you want to know what is even worse(in my opinion) was how they edited the original series with all the CGI. But the biggest sin of all was at the end of the edited version of Return of the Jedi. The scen in the woods where Luke looks into the distance and sees, Yoda, Obiwan, and his father. They actually took out the original Anikan Skywalker and put the really really REALLY bad actor in his place. That was a slap in the face to all the fans who made those movies a sucess in the first place.

And don't yell about how I spell stuff...I wasn't going to go to IMDB to get the right spelling.

As a loyal Star Wars fan, I can admit that the prequels were a bit sub-par compared to the original trilogy. But, I think you have to look at the 6 parts as a whole story. Plus, it certainly didn't help having Jar Jar in the first prequel. Yes, he did suck and I'm sure that turned too many people off to the next 2 prequels. May the Force be with you!

Episode IV, if i'm not incorrect, became 1979. Episodes a million-3 are prequels of four-6, yet they got here out almost 20 years later. Chronologically (renowned individual Wars-wise) this is a million, 2, 3, 4, 5, and six. i'm not particular why Lucas did that. yet you ought to computer screen them with the help of the years they got here out, i.e., 4,5,6,a million,2,3. it really is what I did I understood all of it tremendous. in case you want you may watch it like a million,2,3,4,5,6.

All a bunch of crap...Im not a hater either...I loved the originals..but dame Lucas is weak...I think he blew it when he made Howard the Duck though...and now he is cancelling the new Indiana Jones movie which had a great script and one that steven speilberg was happy with...Lucas is dumb.

Yes! He took too long and is inconsistant...the "earlier" pre-quels seem to show a universe technologically advanced to the "later" original movies! He should have left it alone...
