I'm not sure if it's okay or not. Let me check my Halliburton, Exxon, and Lockheed stock; if they've gone up more than 20%, you better believe it was worth it. Otherwise, I could've made more money selling cigarettes to children.

It's not OK that anyone has died. Some 3100 allied troops have died, and for their bravery all Americans should be both thankful and proud.

But the war, no one should be proud of.

50,000 innocent Iraqis have died since the beginning of the war. Fifty thousand, with no end in sight. These people are not our enemies, they are not terrorists. They are bystanders, innocent men, women, and children. How horrible must it be to endure constant violence and terror, never feeling safety or relief, because their "liberators" have led their country into civil war. It's as if their being punished a second time for their former dictator's mistakes. It's not fair, it's not right, and it has to change.

Humanist, I'm sorry you're getting so many stupid answers from people who have forgotten that Bush claimed Saddam had WMDs which were a threat to the region, and that he had a connection to al Quaeda. These were lies - but there are none so blind as those who will not see.

Remember 9-11, says rockandroll5. Yes, remember that NONE of the hijackers were Iraqi, numbnuts!

Since there is not draft there is no one to blame...secondly, politics is a point of view; his country wages war all the time on other countries also based on "lies" but no one speaks of that.

I think our would be soldiers should research their government before they serve it...

This is a rediculous question. I can't believe this is what YAHOO had in mind when they put Answers on their webpage. I can't in good faith disgrace my Miltary Brothers and Sisters by answering a stupid question such as this. In the future, please think before asking something so demeaning.

I don't think that you have any idea what you are talking about. I have been there fighting this war and I am here to tell you that there is no lie. When you have the balls to go fight this fight then you tell me that it is a lie.
