Who did the song "forever autumn" on the war of the worlds album ..???
also am I correct in remembering that "The Who" played/wrote alot of the music ??

The album is by Jeff Wayne. The song was sung by Justin Hayward, of the Moody Blurs. As far as I know, the Who had nothing to do with any of it.
