Yes and a great percentage of people will state the same things. The tester is looking for deviation from this and just what evil thing popped out of your mouth! If it looks like an elephant holding a lolly-pop then just say it. Chances are you will be right on track with everyone else. But if you say it is your uncle being set on fire by your sister, then you will gain the attention of the tester and he/she will raise a red flag on that ink-blot. Best of luck to you! And after the test you can ask what the blots were usually called, and some testers will give you the information, some won't.

nope. ink blot, aka the rorschach test it's just a tool the psychologists use to interpret and determine thought process, personality disorders, subconscious thinking, emotional functioning, etc. it's usually used in combination with the mmpi test (minnesota multiphasic personality inventory) which is used to determine underlying psychotic and behavioral disorders.
**addendum** while you maybe able to go to a website for info on how to answer ink blot questions, there is no way you can fake an mmpi test. just be yourself and answer what it is you see in the ink blot...it's not that big of a deal...unless you're trying to hide something that is.

This test was first used by Leonardo Davinci to examine the creativity of young artists. A person is shown several ambiguous shapes that are actually two exact inkblots joined together to form a single inkblot. Thus, each inkblot has two identical sides. The person being given the test then tells what they see in each inkblot. There is a set criteria to score each response and provide an overall evaluation of the person's motivations, conflicts, the presence of any disorders, etc. For example, if a person responds to an inkblot by saying they see "a man stabbing a young woman", it may indicate that the person is projecting their own hatred of women, insecurities, and aggression onto the image.

No. The ink blots are to show the person issuing the test what's on your mind.
For instance, if I showed one person a dandelion, the first thing they might think of is dandelion wine. If I show another person the dandelion they might think of what they need to do to their lawn in the spring. If I show another person the dandelion they might think of the last picnic that they were on.
There is no "right" answer when you ask someone what they see or think about when you show them the dandelion. It's just a tool to see what they are thinking about.

There are no "correct" answers, the ink blots don't mean anything, as they are random. The analyst listens for a theme in what you "See" in the inkblots and draws conclusions on that.
