Are you crazy ? the Michael Keeton Batman in the Tim Burton directed version is by far the best. The worst has to be George Clooney he played a horrible batman in the worst of all the Batman movies

I always liked Batman. No super powers and he could get hurt. But in the movies, the hero is only as good as the villain. Jack Nicholson stole the move from Micheal Keaton. It could have been called"The Joker" and Jack Palance has a very memorable performance. Micheal Keaton was the straight man, but he was not a goody two shoes.

Micheal Keaton was out cast again. Danny Devito was a most excellent Penguin, Michele was the delightfully demented Cat Woman and Christopher Walken was.... Christopher Walken. Maybe Micheal Keaton was a bit blase as the Batman Character, but that was what the role demanded.

Val Kilmer was interesting and put more focus on the Batman role.

George Cloony's Batman was a bit to gay. Who puts nipples on the bullet proof vest chest armor of Batman... Get real.

I do feel that in Batman Returns, the script and direction did make the Gotham world more believable. Michale Cain was great as Alfred and the villain was played very well by Liam Neilson.

Michael Keaton was the best!! The voice he used when he was in the Bat suit was cool compared to Kilmer, and Clooney, Bale tried to sound like Michael Keaton. Even the way Keaton would walk in the Bat suit was awesome. Clooney was the worst and they should have never made Batman and Robin!!

Worst Batman Role would have to of been Val Kilmer, best by far was Michael Keaton.

Also, most people don't know that Michael Keaton's real name is actually Michael Douglas too, except that the Michael Douglas that we all know ("The Sentinel." "Don't Say A Word,"etc) beat him to holiday thus making Michael Keaton to change his last name.

I thought George Clooney was bad. Batman has a sad past and had since been tormented by it. George seemed happy.

Christian Bale did a good job but somehow he doesn't look good in the Bat Mask. His chin sticks out.

Michael Keaton is still my favourite. He looks a little crazy, I can still see beetlejuice in his eyes. And Batman has to be a little demented.

The original was Adam West (1960's) and he sucked big time by today's standards.

Of the movies, yeah, I'd have to say Clooney. I loved Batman Begins... Bale = Best ever.

I have to agree with the others, Michael Keaton was the best. I thought Christian Bale was a little bit too...something...I don't know, but I didn't like him...maybe it was the movie too.
