I'm from Ohio, so theres not alot here, how do I get into acting (which I LOVE) without traveling too far. school plays are great, but I want to go farther, anybody have any advice? Who do I talk to, what to I need.. all that good stuff. any info would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Is there a theater around where you live. Go look around and see what different places have to offer. Ask your self what is the farthest I would like to travel and things like that. Don't expect to get a huge roll on your first time. Start small and work your way up untill you are where you would like to be.

first look up acting schools on the internet that are located in ohio. with the information choose whatever one is best for u. next call the ones u r interested in to find out detailed information. if it is covinient for u, u may want to consider visiting the school. however, if there aren't any in Ohio, u may have to think about schools that are near ohio, that way u wont have to travel a great distance.

1) Work at local Starbucks (so you're local).
2) Once you've saved up the money, move to California (at least you don't need a passport).
3) Become a career waiter/waitress.

Ask your acting teacher. She can recommend community theaters in your city, if you are not already familiar with them.
