is??? My car is a "2001" model and it runs on petrol/LPG. When the car is turned on all the lights come on such as the battery light, handbrake, oil and so on, but the car won't click over to start. It has this problem sometimes. On some days the car will start and on other days the car won't start.
Can anyone help a sister out?

Since I dont know the cars details(make, model, is it a factory dual fuel system?) You should have the fuel select sw, checked. If OK; check the battery terminals and all other conections to the starter. solenoid, check all ground connections; and if that doesnt` help, come back here with some more details on the vehicle.

if it works sometimes but not others then I'm going to guess that your starter is having intermittent problems. depending on the make it could have a selenoid seperate from the starter and that could also be the problem. A little more information on the make and model..engine size would be helpful.

Ms; depending where you live check and clean & tighten battery connections. If you live in an area with sand then have the cables on your starter checked. With sand and windy days it will wear threw the coating.
Good Luck.

For one this is common for each and all the lighting fixtures fixtures to come back on once you place the main important and swap it. nicely the starter is going undesirable and in case you will get a competent machanic tell him the starter desires new bushings and that they are greater fee-effective to interchange than a sparkling starter. solid success.

Clean your battery terminals first, if that doesn't help then get your battery tested.
