I'm wearing magenta shoes right now, and I'm wearing a magenta top and some black trousers. So I would say black (although that goes with anythign so it's a bit of a cop-out), magenta (although it might be hard to tind clothes in the same shade) or silver, if you want to be a bit more glam

Without seeing the comforter, it's hard to say. Generally, with such a strong color, you don't want to paint your walls to "match" - you will never get to sleep! Is it solid, or are there other, less noticeable colors in the fabric, too? Depending on the "tone" of the color, you could go with either a deep, almost forest green, or a deep teal blue. Get some card color samples from that color family and hold them up to the comforter. If the base of the color is more pink, you should go with deep green. If the base is more red, you should go with deep teal, more blue than green. I wouldn't paint all the walls that color. Try one accent wall to set off the comforter, and then go with a peaceful cream or some other coordinating neutral for the other three walls. You can hang coordinating prints, pics or designs on those walls, bringing in both colors, and it will look pulled together.

black with magenta might be too dark.. try a gold or creme colour, that should look really pretty.
