*Fox’s “Prison Break” is so hot in the ratings that the network has decided to begin its third season much sooner than expected. After the current run has its season finale next week, the show will go on hiatus for only two months before beginning new episodes on Monday, Jan. 29 at 8 p.m., reports Variety. A recap episode will air Jan. 22.

So... maybe they are calling the next run of shows "season 3" instead of season 2, part 2

I haven't heard anything about it NOT happening. Usually I find out quick enough. My husband was taping Smith, and it got canceled after it's 3rd episode... so I told him and he just deleted everything he taped... what's the point if he didn't even start the show and it's already cancelled.
I love prison break. Have watched every episode. I hope it keeps going until it 'ends' or at least they have enough time to give it a proper ending instead of the lame, slap together ones we usually get.
Did YOU hear something???
