I just got back from the laundry mat. Theres three spaces in front of it. Three large spaces, so everyone has room to open their doors and get their baskets out.

Well, I had to pee (one of the hazzards of pregnancy) so we ran around the block to a chain store, and when we got back some lady in an SUV had double parked RIGHT infront of the door. She literally was some how taking up nearly all three spaces. There was barely enough room for a guy in a little neon to squish in on the right.

I think all people who drive giant land machines should be required to have "I dont give a crap about the world around me" Tattooed on their foreheads.

Does anyone else get sick of this kinda thing?

Obviously there needs to be at the very least a whole new driving exam when someone buys an SUV for the first time. Especially these little soccer moms who can barely see over the dash board.
Look, parking in a space is really quite simple, hell the Escalade even has an automatic tilt feature on its side mirrors just for that purpose.
If your backing into a space just get each line of the space in your sight with the side mirrors, then you know your not over a line. It's really not hard people.

I drive a big land machine.

an 83 dodge extended van to be exact.

it is simply all that i could afford and it gives me tha hauling capacity that i need.

however i can manage to park it in a regular parking space without making it hard for others to get in and out of their cars.

but i can still come back our of the store and find a honda civic parked so close to me that i have to get into my van through the
rear cargo door.

it is not the type of viehicle it is the type of person. some people simply feel that they own the world and do not care how their habits make other people's lives harder.
