our Yorkie-Poo(Yorkshire Terrior mixed with a Poodle) terroizes our Beagle, i mean she grabs onto his collar and he'll run around the house wih her still hooked on.she'll bite at his tail and feet and other places... hell whine and cry and try to puch her away but she goes back and antagonizes him some more...

the beagle is a boy(6 years old ) and the yorkie is a girl (1 year old) we just recently got the yorkie and i guees she feels ike shes the head of the house???

She is a dominate female, and she doesn't have a clue what she is about. You should separate the dogs unless you are with them, and then scold her when she attacks. You are the big dog here and she thinks you like what she is doing. So stop her from doing it before it gets worse.

How old are the dogs and how long have you had each? Male or female? There are a lot of different reasons this could happen.
Yorkie Poos are usually sweet pets. If the beagle is larger, it could be that the YP is trying to be dominant. Like I said there are all kinds of reasons.

T C is right, You are the Alpha Dog! You need to control the situation.
And No that is not normal, it shows a nasty dominant display.
Some child will be next if you do not handle the problem now!

yea thats normal. My 2 dogs do it to. I think its because 1 feels left out so they take it out on the other dog. Just try showing the dog that thats a very bad thing.
