It's incredibly unimaginitive, trite, and overtly cliche. It's been done a million times, and it's boring.
They need to find some other hook. Perhaps you like it so much, because you're part of the target audience which it's aimed at.

Common is interesting. It seems like an interesting pop. culture commercial. Not everyone loves popular culture though.

Commercials are to not meant to be loved or hated. They're manipulative propaganda intended to separate people from their money. They are to be ignored.
