I think it comes down to one thing.

Value.

The value of knowing you are buying a quality product from someone who's been a leader in the industry for 25 years. That you're not paying insane prices for it and knowing that, while you won't get the mainstream experince, you might just get something that's on a different, more personal cutting edge. And that when you get it home, it will work.

That's value.

Well for one the price, its a lot cheaper than its competitors. Another thing is the controller, its unlike anything we've ever played before but still user friendly. Most people jostle the controller around when they play, and with this one its actually the way you move. It does take some getting used to, but within a few minutes of game play its like it was never different. But for those who do have a hard time getting used to it, the wii also comes with a more standard controller. Also the games aren't as much for longevity as for quick entertainment. Instead of having a bunch of games that take you a few days to beat, they have a lot more of the kind of games that you can take a few minutes or even an hour to play and still have fun. Also with consoles like the X box and the playstation, you have to buy the controllers and the games separate. But like they always have the wii comes with two controllers and 5 or 6 games along with it so you get much more for your money. And Nintendo has the kind of games you are going to remember forever. I don't know of anyone who hasnt heard of Mario or Zelda. Nintendo is just cool like that! Go Wii!!!

The best thing about wii is cost, I think it is much cheaper than the other consoles and the other great thing about wii is games. It has a larger selction of ROLE playing as well as simulation.

Well, Im an avid bowler- thats my fav sport in the whole wide world. The bowling game that comes on wii sports is awesome. Being wireless is cool....when I move left, it moves left...if I twist my wrist to curve the ball, it does it. Its more realistic.
The quality is excellent.....overall, its a good console. I ike it too. =)

It changes the way we play video games, not just button mashing but interacting with the game.
