my mom nags me about getting scholarships, mainly a certain one, i know she just doesn't want me to have a lot of debt when i'm out of school, but i apply for scholarships all the time and never get anything. it takes a lot of time. if i could get the damn scholarship i would have gotten it by now

they always told me to be less stern with my daughter, yet my husband said i was not stern enough, looking back on the early days. they also said i should quit working and let my hubby take care of me. that'd have been great if we could have afforded it! good advice though!!
