I enjoy shopping at these stores and have found some very good bargains. Some people pooh pooh at anyone wearing 'gently' used clothing, but I don't care 'cos I have found some very good buys. Many times high priced labels are on clothes and you can pay so much less. Just found a beautiful winter coat for $14.99, hardly worn and looks new.

I love them, Im such a cheap skate its not funny, & as for the lady who said ewwwwwwwwwwwww, what are yo ugiong to do, when money is tight, & you need clothes, go naked, ever heard of washing things before you use them????????????? Get real.
I find alot of awsome treasures there. I remeber 1 time I was there looking for school uniform shirts, & pants for my son, when i saw a lady there shopping with her kids, who come to find out her kids went to my sons school then too. I overheard her tell some teachers "she never shops thrift stores, thats only for poor people, I laughed at her, & said stop lying, I saw you there the sametime I too was shopping for clothes for my son, so are you saying your poor too??" She shut up real fast. I have no priblem telling people I shop at thrift store, goodwill stores, pawn shops, yard sales, gardage sales, estate sales, rummage sales, you name it Im there, I found a brand new deep freeze at a thrift store for only $25.00 dollars, & they delivered it for free too!!!

So say ewwwwwwwwwww all you want, sooner or later your going to hit a bad rough patch in life, & have no choice but to shop there. Stop thinking your better then everyone else, chances are you do shop at one, only wanting to make people think you have $$.

If I was ever to win the lottery, I would still shop there. Why pay those over priced prices when you can get it cheaper?

Well, I have gone on forever, sorry to those who do shop there, just letting the lady know shes no better then us, just remeber were the ones with more money to spend, while you paid the overly high prices.

Love em! I have a gorgeous long red winter coat that I got at Goodwill for about $25 a few years ago. I wear it every Christmas and always get compliments on it. When I lost a lot of weight a few years ago I shopped there a lot to get clothes to wear in between sizes. Great for jeans and sweaters etc. It takes a little digging to find some amazing treasures, but the money saved is well worth the time. Just wash them when you get them home and they're good to go!

LOVE IT!!! It's the only way to shop! And we have the best one here in my town. It's as big as, say, a K-Mart and it's packed to the gills. It's where the rich people in the area donate their old clothes to, and they're nearly all in perfect shape. This spring I got all of my daughter's summer wardrobe and probably half of her winter wardrobe and quite a few things for myself. I spent about $150 and I only paid over $5 on two things, so you can imagine how much I got. There's absolutely nothing wrong with thrift store shopping. Rarely ever do I buy anything new.

Yep, poor and proud, say it out loud! Why pay the ridiculous amounts charged at the malls when I can find most everything at Good Willy's or Saly's? You can find cheap clothes at Walmart but I HATE that place and feel guilty about shopping there. Often I can find really first quality shoes and clothing, not Chinese imports,at a thrift store. Hooray!

When I was younger, my friend was poor so whenever I went to her house which was right in town, we went shopping at thrift stores all the time! Everything there was so original! But that was when I was in girl's sizes. Now I'm in juniors and they don't really have a lot of teen clothes there.
