HI...I am travelling to India soon and I am travelling with my 10 week baby. I bottle feed and I am very worried about sterilizing the bottles on flight. I use Dr. Browns and dont want to switch.

Also how do i deal with the time change since its literally changing day and night. when it is night in US it is day there. Any advice would help.

Try to carry enough clean bottles that you won't have to worry about sterilization. The flight attendants can help you if you ask. They will provide hot water if you need it and a great deal more assistance if necessary. As for the time change, your baby will adjust on his/her own eventually. I am sure that there will be lots of ready and willing family members who will want to hold the baby while you rest.

You're going to have to switch to something simple. Figure out how much formula you'll probably need and carry that much along with disposable bottles. There's so much neat and handy stuff available these days. Call a local pharmacy or your baby's doctor and ask for ideas on how to handle this. Btw, when the plane takes off and lands, the baby's ears will hurt and pop because of pressure changes. That would be a good time to have him sucking on a bottle or a pacifier so pressure won't hurt his ears.

I know you don't want to switch to another brand, but I used those bottle fillers (they are like little plastic bags) when I flew to Finland. My son was 5 weeks old then and he literally sleep the days and was up for nights for the first week and then his schedule just naturally changed. I don't know if there's anything else you can do to deal with the time change. Good Luck!

Not sure what to do about not switching types, etc.. but as far as the regulations you may want to check on http://www.tsa.gov/ they have a complete section on traveling with a child and what you can bring for formula, etc...

Have a great trip!
