Tolkien created a world. He created beings that one can only dream of. He created languages, he made characters, and that's appealing. He's a master at creating tales that others would balk at. Can any other compare to the depth with which Tolkien writes? The scope of his understanding of human emotions and circumstances? The beauty of his craftly woven words upon the page? No, he is a genius, he is a first, and he is an only. and I....I'm a tolkienist 4 eva.....

They are an adventure that you get to go along with. Every now and then I like to pick up the LOTR and reread, just day by day it's a fun escape into a magical world. Tolkien was a genuius.
