Judging by the number you see around here, about an hour a day with a 45 min lunchbreak.

When you call them out, you need a calender to measure their response time.

indeed mate...it depends on which section they work on or in...for example, an officer on task force can virtually be called out 24/7 whilst on call...if the officer is doing a desk job, eg. telecommunications officer, then they work a normal week on flextime but will, in general, be on call for 1 week out of 4....a beat bobby can vary from force to force..it depends on the way the individual chief constable works the hours per calender month...but at the end of the day, a copper is ALWAYS on duty, even tho, when off duty, they have the same rights as a 'normal' person...and never knock a coppers helmet off....you can be done for ABH.....lmfao...have fun....xxxxxx

It seems they work for 20 hours a day. Truly, they are suppose to work at 8 or 9 hours a day. However, it is mandatory that they all work some overtime, weekends and holidays.

Thirty seven and a half hours. (UK).
There's all sorts of shifts that depending on their role, they work.
Some work 24/7 frontline which tend nowadays to be 12 hour shifts (six on, four off).
Others can be 9-5 weekends off or variations on that.

48 hours, plus, whatever overtime is required.

Depends on their rank.

They all do a great job.

Time off and holidays can be cancelled in an emergency situation.
