Hi, so I am going to buy a Nintendo Wii the day after Christmas. I figure the PS3 will be the more popular choice for most gamers. Plus, Nintendo is fully prepared. So, I will be in Wisconsin this X-MAS and want to buy a Wii the day after X-MAS. There is a Bestbuy, Walmart, Shopko, and K-Mart within 30 miles of me. What are the chances I land a Wii??
Thanks

FYI Nintendo Wii has actually been the more popular choice for gamers. I just read an article in the USA Today in the LIFE section and it shows CLEARLY that Nintendo Wii is the more popular choice. As for getting a Wii after Christmas, should not be a problem. I JUST got mine today at Target. today is 11/28/2006. There were five left but when I went back for a second one the lady toldme that she wasn't supposed to put them out until the weekend. SOOOOO if you go to target either FIRST THING friday morning or Saturday Morning, you might get one.

Damn good I say. Nintendo says there will be 3 million more Wiis shipped to US stores before the year is over. Your best bet is actually Toys R Us, since they have some kind of agreement with Nintendo to be sales partners or something. They get a disproportionately large amount of Wiis compared to the other retail stores. But failing that, Best Buy would be 2nd on the list.

Good choice on the Wii though ;). I'm hoping to land one tomorrow.

i would say it's pretty high. If u were aiming towards a ps3 i would say u wouldent be getting one anytime soon but the wii is diffrent. between now and christmas there will be a bunch of wiis being shiped out. By the end of the year nintendo is trying to ship out 4 million wiis so i wouldent worry about it. But just to be safe i would get to best buy pretty early.... you can never take your chances with these things.:)

Simple answer is no where, they are currently only releasing the wii fit in limited numbers as far as the UK is concerned so they sell out as quickly as they get them in the shops, Game is doing a package at normal retail price Ignore Ebay where people are currently selling at inflated prices and claiming over 50 games the truth is is that its actually only 3 disc's and each disc has multiple games on it for example the wii fit disc has over 50 activities on it.

It's really hard to get Nintendo Wii now because most stores, that I've been to, have been sold out. The odds of getting one after X-MAS would be slim to none because so many other people want to buy one. Even online websites were sold out. The smart thing to do would be to reserve one online so you could get it before February or March.

I'd say pretty good, especialy in a rural area.

They'll have already supplied just about everyone in the area by then and probably a lot of outhers will be out of town for the holidays. Kids will be playing with their new crap. Adults will be hung over and everyone else will be standing in return lines holding recipts.

That's how I'd think it would break down, anyhow. If not the day right after, you won't have any problem getting one within a week.

You have a very good chance of getting one before X-mas if you want. I got mine at BEST BUY (I had to camp out for 8 hours though)

If you want it bad enoough you will get it!
