I really enjoyed the book in its original form. I also read the updated version and was really disappointed. I felt like you could tell the parts he added in; it just didn't flow as well. Plus, I felt like the original story was fairly timeless; the updates dated the new book.

Depends on if your are a King fan; yes it reels you in and you'll want to finish it but with a lot of his books (personally) I feel empty upon completing them. They all seem to end the same way (a big explosion) and I don't really take anything away from them. It's personal preference though, I like books that present more problems than solutions and leave me thinking about them after I read them for days.

I read the original version, which was long but shorter than the revised version. It moves along well and so many things happen it is hard to put down. It could have been two books, but i was glad it was not. I hope you enjoy it as much as did I.

The movie is pretty good, but the book blows it out of the water. This is my all time King book.
