If I had a magic wand I would make all of the diseases , ( both mental & physical ) that plague mankind disappear.

Do you just mean turn them invisible, make them not exist, or send them somewhere far away where the rest of us never have to deal with them anymore? Everyone deserves a chance to live, so I would pick the last one. I would send several of the people I went to school with, some of the people I used to work with, and a few of my relatives (particularly my half-sister) and let them fight out their problems amongst themselves so I didn't have to deal with it anymore. I would also completely vanish all diseases and pain. This world would be a much better place.
