There is no reason USC is overrated, the last four years they have only lost like 43 games, Texas in the Rose Bowl, Oregon State by 2, and Cal in 2OT. The media doesn't like USC and they don't understand the strength of the Pac 10. Some people say their schedule is weak, but come on, Oregon, Cal, Notre Dame, UCLA, Arkansas, Nebraska. I think Ohio State is scared to play USC. I also think many people are east coast bias

just in the past few years, USC...
1. won the AP national championship in 2003
2. won the AP & BCS national title in 2004
3. played for the BCS national title in 2005
4. produced 3 heisman winners in the last 5 seasons
5. holds a home game win streak of 32 games
6. has the #1 recruiting class for the last 4 years
7. been ranked in the top 10 for over 50 consecutive weeks
8. places a lot of players in the NFL
9. a lot of other stuff too
with credentials like that, it's easy to see how people are sick of the trojans. they better just get used to it because it's not gonna change any time soon.

because they play in the pac-10 which is only slightly better than the big east. also pete carroll whined and moaned in 2003 even tho they lost to freakin cal who sucked, and they had a weaker schedule than both LSU and Oklahoma. he complained enough to get a split of the national championship with LSU even though both teams were ranked ahead of them.
Now, in 2004 they get to play oklahoma for the national championship. the beat a oklahoma team who was horrible against the pass and was overrated. Auburn finished undefeated and third but couldnt manage to get a split of the championship like USC did. even though they are the first and only team in NCAA history to go 13-0 and not get a piece of the national championship. thats why.
