It is very possible. I am both, a night owl and an early bird. I can go to sleep at 3 am and wake up, bright eyed at 6 am with no problems.
Be blessed.

I am a NIGHT OWL but because I work at an office that requires me to be there at 8:00 am - I guess I'm also an EARLY BIRD - but only because I need to. I actually am most productively creative at 3:00 am or so. It's a great time to paint and sketch or write stories or poetry.

I am an early bird all the way. When I do stay up late I am still up early, but I feel like I have a hangover without ever drinking. So I just go to bed early enough to feel normal.

Im somewhere in between, I become an early bird during Winter coz the sun disappears way to early in the afternoon so by 7pm I feel that its already sleeping time.

I am both, can't go to sleep for anything until the wee hours of the morning and then I'm up before the birds. But isn't it glorious whn that crash comes? After weeks of doing this, there comes that time when you can't elude sleep much longer & it catches up with you, nothing can move me when that hits. It is so sweet.

Night Owl. I think you just need a few hours to sleep and you are fine. Night Owls may need little sleep but don't like the light.
