I don't get ABC but bought the last two seasons and watched it. So I was wondering if someone could give me the basics of what's happening so far in Season 3?

Ok, so far the hatch where lock and eko were inputting the numbers in imploded (some electromagnetic overload) this in turn caused the whole island to shake!
John, Sawyer and Kate are being held by the 'others' Sawyer and kate are being held in seperate cages and being forced to do manual labour (not sure what for but thats what they are doing)
John is being held underground in a cellar type thing, the others are trying to get him to perform an operation on the head guy Ben as he is dying from a spinal tumour - they want John to perform surgery on him to make him live. However there is a twist a women (part of the others) who is looking after him in the cellar is trying to get him to do the op but wants John to kill him and then tell everyone (the others) it was cos of surgery. This is cos Ben is supposed to be very evil, and the others want change.
Eko starts to vision his brother and is taken by a polar bear! John saves him but it is all too late as EKo dies in episode 5! he is killed by the black smoke which lifts him into the air and hits him agianst loads of trees.
THats about it so far, i cant think of anythign else- ooh everyone seems to have a connnection with almost everyone else on the isalnd before they even set on the plane, but none know yet...thisis still unfolding.

Go to abc. com and u can watch all of the shows from season 3 so far for free, and they have a cool little catch u up show too. you ll have to wait till February for more, Have fun its GOOD!

nicely i've got considered sunday's episode this is rather good,jack has been stupid trusting juliet plenty and that i think of he gets remoted from something of the team or maybe compelled to leave if the survivors locate out approximately juliet.i think of there'll be a jack back tale nonetheless to come back probably of what occurred whilst he took ben over to the different island.good on the tip of the season they are going to instruct you or maybe supply you somewhat taster of the place locke has long previous and what his plan is.can not wait!!!

3 people are captives of the others, the producers are really dragging this out, the others have contact with the outside world, but decide to kidnap Jack so he can be a surgeon to Ben. Ben is the leader of the others.
