Well, if you like racecar driving you might have a good time. Otherwise, you will not find Daytona as exciting as Las Vegas.

Also, keep in mind that it is notorious for being the least expensive and most popular Spring Break destination in the whole world, so be prepared to be descended upon by thousands of screaming, drunk college students from the end of February until the end of March.

Good luck :)

If you are under 40 Daytona can be an awesome place to live. The beaches are very nice, lots of surfing, bikinis, watercraft activity, and plain old beach bumming. Entertainment is abundant, people are usually pretty non judgemental and friendly. It is pretty open and busy into the early hours of the morning. There are the famous Bike Week and Car Race agendas. Something for every one and every taste.

It is if you own a hotdog stand and you can sell thousand sof them during Biker Week and Race Car Haven. Just a bit too tourist. Beaches are also saddled with the Spring Breakers. Now if you got your 4 by 4, Surf Board, and tons of shorts and sandals, no kids you are on......Now thirty miles away is Longwood Florida that is twenty minutes to Orlando/Disney/Universal Studios/NASCAR Racing and you can walk to the Starbucks for your coffee and get a seat in a movie studio.
