I had taken 3 pregnancy tests and they all turned out negative. Well, today i took another one and it showed positive. I am on many medications that will not allow me to have a child without many birth defects and i can also die from the process. Therefore, i need to get an abortion. But, i know very little about abotrions. Can someone please supply me with some information about them and how much they cost. I have looked on the internet and it isnt any help. I am going to go to the doctor on monday to see if i am truly pregnant but i would like to have a little information incase i am. PLEASE HELP!!! I am severly scared.

When you go to your Dr. he will probably do a blood test that will verify whether you are pregnant or not. He will have options that you can decide on. Trust in him and in yourself. Just keep an open mind.

First you will need to find a clinic. There are two kinds of abortions available a present. The first is a surgical method that is performed by dilating your cervix and inserting a tube that works as a vacuum. The second method is done with medication. you take two different kinds of medicine the first eliminates the fetus and the second causes uterine contractions to dis spell the fetus. Both of these are done before 12 weeks. With the surgical type you are there only the time to complete the procedure and a 1 hour recovery the second requires a visit to the clinic then a return visit to make sure it worked. Although I am pro choice I do hope that next time you will be more careful as you know you can not even consider adoption . Good luck.

There isn't very much info on the web specific enough for what you're going through. On Monday Call some clinics they can tell you the most information. I live in Tennessee and here for the pill(If it is younger than 7 week you take a pill to abort the fetus) it is around $500. I hope this helps you

if you are on many meds, one of them could give you a false pregnancy result. Your best bet is to get the doctor to check you out. I don't know where you live, or what kind of health insurance you have, but I suspect that most would pay for a D & C to ensure you don't have a baby with multiple birth defects, and please use a condom every time from now on, and get an alternative method of birth control

you may not even be pregnant
the test could have shown a false positive
when you see you dr and if you are pregnant
if it is life threatening for you to have a child
your doctor will advise you what to do next

The doctor will be able to give you more info.. The cost etc varies as to where you are...you dont say where you are!...;

go to your local hospital they have lots of information they are normally free but good luck god will be with you : )
