Of course it would make a difference but essentially it all depends on that person .......people have many different facets, apart ( in this case ) from being wealthy and titled.

Both of you have a common denominator ... you are both human beings, and feelings can therefore run in both directions regardless of background. I gather you are asking about romantic feelings here? If so, all I can suggest is that you let things unfold, take your time and simply see if that money and status spoil things ..... but remember this is a two way thing so be prepared to be seen as to what you can put into the relationship as well ..... you may have a lot more to offer than you realise ........ just give it time .... good luck .

Nope.

I have recently found out that a guy who has been very (and I mean VERY) interested in me for ages is actually a millionaire. And I'm still not interested.

In fact, this morning I received a cheque in the post from him for £500 a an "early Chritmas present" and I have returned it.

I like the idea of being with a millionaire enormously, but other things matter much more.

As much as anyone would say "no" I think that the fact that someone is wealthy does make a difference.. it makes you think about why that person is wealthy... If they earnt their money on their own, then it shows a quality of determination and ambition and success which is attractive.. especially compared to someone unemployed and lazy.

If they are titled it suggests that the money was inheritted.. in which case I'd be wary... people who inherit money are stereotypically spoilt... doesn't make for a nice person.

(I say "stereotypically" as I know it is not true of everyone, just that is the image which I have of people growing up rich). I think they'd have to work harder for my attraction (If they wanted it...lol)

I guess that would depend. If they made out that they weren't and then you discovered they were then they have been lying to you and you need to decide if they can be trusted. If, however, they've been honest from the offset then no it shouldn't make a difference.

Unfortunately it inevitably will make a difference in your relationship. You may end up relying on them instead of being independent. If you feel you can avoid being like this then don't worry about it.

I wouldn't care because they're human beings like anybody else. But on the other hand, mostly because I was in the military I have been trained to respect those of a higher rank so if someone is titled or such, I would be more respectful to them, but if it's just about money it doesn't matter. Someone with more money than me doesn't make them better than me!

Not really...I would still be buds with them even if they were loaded! LOL I do not think you need to go all gaga over someone simply because they have money or a title...they are used to that sort of treatment. I say treat them as a friend and like any other friend.

It shouldn't. But it will undoubtedly leave an effect on most people. I see it as an added bonus, while others might see it as a nuisance.
