i have mozilla firefox and its much better and i dont use microsoft explorer any more and it keeps giving me pop ups and its just so annoying but i dont know how to get rid of it.
does anyone know? thanks.

Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components > Uncheck Internet Explorer and click next

Click on:
Start
Run
Type: appwiz.cpl
Choose: Add or remove Windows Components
Then Uncheck "Internet Explorer" and click on Next.
This will remove the IE from ur pc. Well not a REAL uninstalling coz that is not possible, coz IE is a part of the windows.. but anyhow that will do the job and IE will get removed from ur pc, and the only browser will be mozilla..

There's a way to remove it. I forgot the webpage but google
should be your friend. I wouldn't recommend it though.
IE is used for a lot of things in windows. Not just web
browsing. If you remove it you break things. Just don't
use it. Removing it won't give you any significant space
back or any real advantage besides having it removed.
PS: It can't give you popups if it's not running. If you
get popups on your desktop without IE running you
probably caught yourself some annoying adware you
might want to get rid off ;)

First click on the icon on your desktop and hit delete. Then go to start and right click and delete the icons that are there. Then last go to my computer , drive c , then programs, then find internet explorer, and right click and hit delete

the only way to do that is to run a linux, or other alternate operating system, as windows uses explorer as the graphic user interface (GUI) , thus making it necessary for your files to be displayed at all. This is unfortunate, but true.

i think it depends on what version you are using but you really shouldnt get totally rid of it ........ just dont use it until you have to. And go to tools and you will see pop up blocker set it to block the pop ups

You should be able to just go to your contral panel, click add/remove programs and then you select internet explorer and then click remove.

Expolrer is needed for windows updates so there fore i would not delete it but if u need to here is alink on how to do it http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=293907
