Most cities have noise regulations and the police are required to enforce them....Tint on the windows keep it off the front door windows or expect to be staring down the barrel of an officers peice, if they can't see in during a traffic stop they can't determine that you are not armed. In fact the state that I live in has a % tint on the front door windows law just for that reason. As far as doing anything that you want to a car you can you just cant drive it on public streets, trailer it to shows (I do mine) or get real rich and drive it only on your estate. I would recommend that you at least look up the DMV regulations before any modification to your car. Enjoy the car and stay safe

Dark tinted windows have been proven to be dangerous to the police. They have been shot through the tinted windows because they could not see the weapons pointed at them.
If your music is so loud that it is disrupting the peace of others, then it should be ticketed. Just like the old saying "The right to swing your fist ends at the end of his nose". The same goes for the music.

Sorry, no!
There are things we must sacrifice when we live in close proximity of others.
You may like the loud Hip-Hop sound, but my brother prefers the country. Why should you be required to put up with his Goat Ropin"?
If the stereo is too loud, emergencies can arise that you are un-aware of. You can't hear it.
Been there, done it!!
Windows tinted too dark has several issues attached, the two most important are safety.
1) If too dark, it interferes with your perspective of your surroundings, especially at night. You may be able to see lights of an oncoming car, but you may misjudge the distance and speed of his approach.
It is even more difficult to be able to see a vehicle without his lights on. Yeah,he is wrong, but it won't make you less injured if you hit him, even if you are right.
2) When the tint is so dark that the officer cannot observe the interior of the car and its occupants, it raises the "adrenalin level" several steps, and increases the chances of someone not going home safely. If he cannot see that you are not a threat to him, he is going to (and SHOULD) behave in a manner that if there is a doubt, HE will be the one NOT injured.
They aren't there just to ruin your day, they are there doing the job society (and the legislature) demands of them.
Good Luck

I knew people who would pile in the car on hot summer nights to ride around and enjoy the air conditioning. They'd play the radio as loud as they wanted, and they could paint the windows solid black. They didn't have insurance, a license or even a title, and no cop ever dared bother them! They drank, got stoned, ran into the trees and had fun. You can do the same thing if you do what they did: they never took the car out of their back yard. Maybe up and down the alley when they felt daring.

front door window tint is forbidden so the police can identify the driver and what they are doing! (like brandishing a weapon) Loud music is as distracting as cell phones. To me; driving is a privilege, not a right! When I`m on the rd. I hope other drivers are conscientious enough not to put MY life at risk.

Them are them things called local laws that you have to follow, as many people complained about loud music, and the tint thing is for the safety of police, knowing what your really doing in that car of yours.

Wrong. You have no right to the roadway - its a privilege to be there. You are obviously attracting attention. Is your tint legal? You already know that blasting the radio can get you pulled over. You can't hear emergency vehicles with the radio blaring.
