It's minimum wage to start with here, and it goes up depending on skill level and tenure with the company, I'm pretty sure. You get tips too, as well as a 401 k plan, dental, and medical benefits, and a pound of coffee free every week. I'd work there!

I can deffinatly tell you Starbucks pays more than anything you will find in a mall. It all depends on what area you are in, but more than likely you would make a couple dollars more than minimum wage. Not only that, but you have to take into consideration you can get health and dental insurance if you work 25 hours a week or more. Thats a pretty good deal if you ask me.

When min wage went up in my state (Michigan), my wage was raised even though I already made above the new min wage. They are great about raises and you get reviewed every 6 months.

Starbucks will generally pay a couple dollars over minimum wage. You also get a variety of other benefits and a pound of free coffee each week. Not a bad job if you can get it.
