Why do women cheat?

Everyday I come on this site and see the question "Why do men cheat?".

Since both sex cheat equally , It would be only fair to ask, Why do women cheat?

Then this question and the men one should be left at the top of the list, Then we will not have to ask these stupid questions again.

Since women are more emotional than men, I'd have to say that when women cheat, it's for emotional reasons. Something is lacking at home for a woman to go looking outside the marriage.

Your right but alot of people are just searching for a answer and can you blame them?
Girls can jsut say what is on there mind whether it is stupid or not and to them the fact that anyone cheats isnt right but they want a serious outside opinion.
It would be the same reasons why men do but to be honest a lot of women just dont want to face that.

Both genders most definitely do NOT cheat equally! It is a well known fact that men cheat due to their shallow out look of women! Yes, some women disgrace the sex by choosing to cheat but that is their problem and should not have anything to do with the generally public of women! So....there you go.

People (including women) want to feel desired and appreciated. When their mates stop filling this need they seek these affirmations elsewhere.

Often women get what they need without cheating but an illicit relationship often satisfies the needs that are unmet in the primary relationship. Unfortunately the impact of the cheating is often guilt and pain in trying to "serve two masters" one being the primary relationship and the other being the passionate relationship.

I think after years of marriage both men and women sometimes forget to compliment their spouse and make them feel special. then someone else starts giving attention and saying things like you look nice today or you are so smart! Also they seem to appreciate you and take interest this is when the ball starts rolling towards cheating

Why ask why? Cheating is cheating. People get bored. They want a taste of that wild passion. They like excitement. They want to know if they got "it". They are going through a mid life crisis. They want to get back at their partners. Someone made them angry and they need to vent. They want to see what it's like. Variety is the spice of life. They want to learn some new things. They want that new job. They want to get someone in deep trouble. They need to make some money. The reasons are endless. Don't beat yourself up about it.

women cheat because their emotional needs are not meet .like
not listening to her & NOT making her feel important & not acting like you care for her
calling her a nag & other nasty names when you never do anything she asks you to do like take the rubbish out etc
so she has to repeat asking you & you get angry & call her nag etc
if you treated her like you did when you first met (like a princess)
she wouldn't cheat if she loved you to start with
BUT none of that is an excuse for cheating because
cheating is being a deceitful liar etc
she should try & tell her man her feelings & how he is not meeting her emotional needs BUT THAT IS WHERE he gets nasty again & calls her a nag etc
so the point here is
she can't win because when she wants to fix her relationship up the male wont listen LOL& it goes around & around etc

sometimes a female asks this question after her man broke her heart because he cheated. i have seen both questions posted here several times. while i agree that both men and woman cheat. i think that you are quite callused in your assessment that these people who are upset and asking this question are just asking stupid questions. wait you asked the question to! so what does that make you?

Women cheat usually because they are not getting some need met by their husband. The same reason men cheat. Thanks for the points

They cheat for the same reason men do(they're a cheater, that's why). They just use different excuses, than men do, to make themselves feel better about themselves.
