and foud i was for want of a better word pining for an x girlfriend of 16 years ago. never happined before. is it unusual

Firstly be grateful that you woke up. Just kidding ya, sure we all have thoughts about previous lovers and sometimes it is good for us to remember the good and the bad in these relationships. That's usually why they are ex relationships.
