any tropical community fish. buy quality at a pet store not wallmart or pet smart. these people rotate in the store and aren't always the most knoweledgable.
guppies are live bearers, so other live bearers as always good, glass catfish are schoolers so get at least 2, dojo's,cory cat's for cleaning, clown loaches.
make the tank fun. get odities. also remember to think of the tan k in thirds, from top to bottom. get fish that use the serface, fish that swim in the middle, and fish that are bottom dwellers.
most importantly add fish slowley don't but too many at once. this will allow the good bacteria a chance to build up in the tank to eat the waste products. The better your filtration the more fish you can have in the tank and the less cleaning you will have to do.
any tank should have an undergroung filter first and formost, complimented by a carbor filter, back filters also add airation to the tank, also nesserary

10 litres is a small tank rite? well anyways u dont wanan over crowd your tank!!! I would get a corydoras catfish as they are cute and good cleaning the gravel! In my tank i currently have 2 big angels, 4 corydoras (2 albino and 2 peppered), 4 swordtails, a Plec, 2 Silver fish and they have a long name that begins with "p", a Panchax and urm... i cant think what else they area all great but i wouldnt put angels in with guppys as they tend to nip and also Panchax eat small live foods so the babies would get eaten!! if you have some guppys make sure you have lots of vegitation in the tank and that when the female has the babies she is put in a breeding net to have them or the thick vegitation so the babies can hide! having a cat fish makes your tank more interesting but also live bearers are at lower risk to have their babies eaten by catfish! also corydoras are small and dont grow very big so they would be ideal for a small tank!
I hope that is of some help! I wnat a new tank 4 chirsmas now! dont think i will tho! :(

10 litres isnt very big! You ned to allow 1 litre of water for each cm of (full grown) fish. Full grown guppies are about 4 - 5cms so your 3 fish are over the limit for the size of your tank. It wouldnt be a good idea to put anything else in...;

There are many fish which cn go with guppies, other live bearers such as mollies platies swordtails, small tetras, small catfish such as corries etc. However 10L to small a volume for even those guppies let alone anything else. You may want to look into getting a larger tank.

Guppies breed like anything,so i shouldn't worry about it a the moment.
Give it 3-4 weeks,you'll have so many,you'll won't know what to do with them.

Indeed, you may just be OK with three guppies, but certainly no other fish.

Generally if you have fish with floaty tails stay away from fish that have not,things like neons or any tetras will chew at them!

Angels are lovely, DON'T have Japanese fighters, they will kill your fish, they attack and kill them off. Neons are also lovely. Go to your aquarium store, they have some real beauties there. I saw some beautiful bright blue fish, but don't know what they're called, they seem to glow when the lights off.Good Luck.
