Usually, if the parents are decent people. Many children would be better off if they had no contact with either parent.

In societies where parenting is more an age-grade thing than actual biology, children have many parents, and are probably the best adjusted psychologically of any.

Of course, they do. Both parents offer a balance in the child's life and they are more likely to be cared for consistently and disciplined better with the example of both parents. Two parents make a stronger family too. This is very important in keeping a child's integrity up and instilling good values.

Absolutely they do and reserch is pretty lopsided that it's true. Basically, it's true because children learn best by seeing examples and so learn the roles of man and woman by seeing two loving parents make a marriage work.

You can't just make a blanket statement like that - it depends on what kind of people the two parents are. Just having two parents present doesn't mean everything is going to be fine and rosy.

Children need a father and a mother, regardless of what extremists want to claim. But that home life has to be peaceful and loving, it can not be a battlezone.

of course.. look at kids now adays that dont have both parents.. they get fuked up in the head.. they end up ***** up in school.. I think that all children need they both parents with them . its better for them.. and its better if both of the parents dont drink or do any drugs or even smoke.. my dad used to drink and he was never there for us but now he is in alcoholics anonymous and everything is going great.. its better for children to be raised by both parents. cos if they are not they might end up being some fuked up person in life.

That really depends. If it is a loving family, then yes. But, if you have two parents who hate each other and fight all day and night, then no.
What really matters is that it is a loving, stable environment. Not necessarily that it is a two parent home.

SURE IF THE PARENTS ARE HAPPY AND NOT SCREAMING AT EACH OTHER. IT GIVES THE KIDS A BALANCE WITH 2 PARENTS. ALSO SOMEONE FOR THE OTHER PARENT TO TALK THINGS OVER WITH.
