Depends on what part of the theatre you want to focus on. For acting, Julliard, the conservatory at SUNY Purchase, and the Yale School of Drama are all excellent. For stage managment, technical design, etc. the Design Technology conservatory at SUNY Purchase is very good. For a more liberal arts/general little-of-everything/ non-conservatory type program, there are very good ones all over the country.

i'd assume that theatre majors are centred on the appearing portion of theatre. i'm specific there are musical theatre extra effective courses you are able to still take could they decide for to, yet i'd think of that a theatre substantial would consult with purely theatre. All colleges have course calendars you are able to verify out on their web pages (they could have them a minimum of!) so which you will fairly discover out precisely what's needed in each and each application.

-There's a website I used my senior year of High School during the big college search. Not only did it help me search through specific school information (such as the best school for specific degrees, costs, locations, etc...), helping me find which one was right for me, but in the meantime it lets you apply for numerous student loans, scholarships, and aid funds. I highly recomment it to anyone in the college decision process.
