Yes. Easier than you think. As crazy as it seems the best way to remember something is to forget it. The tenser you become thinking you are going to forget something - the harder it is to remember it. I should imagine you have a lot on your mind at the moment. You have an excellent memory which like all human memories edits out what it does not think is important to you - it does not care about your boss. Under the pressures of modern work environments it can be difficult the more pressure you are under. Forget it and relax and you will find that the lost memory usually will float to the top of all that stress you are under from your boss and others like drift wood. Bosses nowerdays want everything by yesterday, so many post stick up notes. Know your brain - mind - memory, some have a tendancy having written a note "deal with the fire" to feel the matter has been dealt with and of course that is not good. So just be aware if you use notes that you can lull yourself into a false sense of having dealt with it.

The easiest way is to key it to something you will remember. It is like a bottle of pills you have to take twice a day - simply put the pill bottle with your other medicine that you have to take the same way and include it with your regulars. Add it into what you already know, and remembering anything is the same way - add it in with something you already know and remember. Some people, if they see something written down a few times (Napoleon was this way, by the way) they will never forget it. So try jotting whatever it is down on a piece of paper and looking at it a few times. Sometimes, simply hearing it a few times will make it stick. I hope some of this helps you! - Chris.

Use mnemonics. E.g the planets in order from the sun, how the hell do you remember that? My Very Elderly Mother Just Slices Up Nice Pizzas.

Or use picture association: The capital of Honduras is Tegucigalpa but how to remember that? Imagine a guy or girl you know who owns a Honda, imagine them driving up the ALPS playing TIG, and smelling of or wearing Gucci.

When you learn someones name for the first time, imagine them doing something with someone you already know with that name - e.g. thgey called Joe - Imagine them playing on the left wing with Joe Cole.

there's different techniques you can use. Like you could make mind maps of the things you need to remember. Or associate specific words with random objects, or make up a story with all the things you need to remember.

Buy 1 note book, and 1 pen. (Or several if you are so bad that you forget where you put them!)
Write everything down.
My memory is like this too. All that helps me is writing important things down, and occassionally setting an alarm on my mobile phone for important appointments.

Sing it to yourself ie Your boss asks you to send an e-mail informing the staff of some thing. You get a tune and sing WRITE THE E-MAIL TO LET THE STAFF KNOW THIS. or write it down. I use a small White board that sits on my desk then you can priorities things

If you remember things that interest you, it's probably just not remembering things unimportant or boring to you. Associate them with other things, like if you're introduced to someone named Neil, think of kneeling in church....you get the idea. I've made notes to myself for years.

Without taking courses or buying books, repeating things to yourself and incorporating them into conversations / general life is the best way to go.

If you are introduced to someone at a party, just repeat the person's name multiple times in the conversation.

yes, bananas are an excellent food for the memory, especially if you can eat one in the morning, and try and fit plenty of fish into your diet,,,if not, you can buy omega 3 capsules in the chemist or any health store, but the best one is the banana......
