The HDTV is a must for all those with an xbox 360 the picture quality of your standard TV to a comparable HDTV is probably around 10 fold in favor of the HDTV, now I must also point out that if u do end up getting an HDTV, you must use the HD inputs to notice the improved picture quality, your standard AV inputs aren't going to cut it, all in all the xbox 360 is a top performer and so it is only just that it be view in the best possible settings, hope tjhis helps.

Buying HDTV is not a solution..you can buy HDTV with a HDTV service provider.Xbox totally depends on graphics card. While TV will improve your graphic view of the pictures.HDTV is worthwhile,if you can afford it.Mostly peoples watch HDTV programming from ESPN sports channels. So if you're a sports game lover buy it.

i think it improves it alot, i think its worth going ahead and buying the tv if you got the money to do so, after buying mine...i tried playing it on a regular tv and it just unbelieveable how much difference there is. the only thing that sucks for me is that i havent upgraded my sat. reciever to hd yet.
